In a saucepan, break the chocolate into pieces, add 3 tablespoons of water and melt everything over medium heat in a double boiler (a larger pot filled with water).

Mixing Ingredients
Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl, work the softened butter into a paste using a wooden spoon, then add the granulated sugar. Keep stirring until the mixture becomes light and creamy. You can also use an electric mixer, which is more effective in achieving the desired consistency.

Add the eggs one at a time, alternating with the flour.
Tip: Stir and work the dough thoroughly between each egg and each addition of flour until these ingredients are completely incorporated into the dough. For a more uniform batter, you can also give it a quick mix with an electric mixer. -

Next, stir the melted chocolate into the mixture thoroughly with a spoon.

Grease your mold, pour the batter into it, and bake in a preheated oven at 150°C (300°F) for 25 to 30 minutes.

Dust confectioners’ sugar on the top of the cake once it has completely cooled. Serve chilled.
