This clarification comes after rumors began circulating when King was seen with Chatwal on multiple occasions last week. Speculation intensified after they were seen together at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, followed by a sighting at Chatwal’s Bombay Palace restaurant shortly thereafter.
Although attempts were made to reach King for a statement before the initial reports surfaced, she did not respond until recently.
King has now explained that her meetings with Chatwal were purely professional. “These were just business meetings with a friend, nothing more,” she stated. “I’m very happy in my relationship with Austin.”

King’s personal life has seen significant changes recently. She completed her divorce from filmmaker Kyle Newman in 2023 after a 17-year marriage. In July 2025, she got engaged to Austin Sosa, whom she met through mutual friends in December 2024.
On the other hand, Vikram Chatwal, whose father Sant Singh Chatwal is a renowned hotelier, has had a notable dating history. He has been linked to several high-profile women, including Spanish model Esther Cañadas and celebrity chef Padma Lakshmi.
Chatwal’s 2006 marriage to Indian socialite Priya Sachdev was a lavish affair, reportedly costing $20 million, ranking it among the most extravagant weddings ever. However, the couple parted ways in 2011.
Despite the social buzz and public interest, both King and Chatwal are focusing on their respective careers and personal lives, dispelling any rumors of a romantic involvement.
