Time seems to stand still for Jennifer Lopez, who at 56, looks no older than 40. Her secret? A commitment to ultra-healthy living habits, especially when it comes to her diet. In an interview with Hello! magazine, the superstar revealed the four staple foods she swears by – the foundation of her youthful glow, she claims.

In her discussion with Hello!, Lopez shared details about the foods she frequently enjoys with her twins, Emme and Max. At the top of the list: green vegetables. “We eat a lot of asparagus, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, kale…” she shared. These vegetables are not only rich in fiber, vitamins, and antioxidants, which are great for both health and maintaining a slender figure, but they also pack a powerful nutritional punch. Asparagus is light, broccoli is loaded with beta-carotene, Brussels sprouts are full of vitamins A, B, C, and K, and kale is a powerhouse of micronutrients. Additionally, she makes sure to get her fill of proteins. “They help keep me full longer and support muscle development,” the star explained.

Staying active is essential for peak fitness, and Jennifer Lopez knows it well! To tone her body, the singer of On The Floor employs personal trainers (Tracy Anderson, David Kirsch, and Dodd Romero) and focuses on strengthening her arms, abs, and glutes. She lifts weights three or four times a week for about an hour and doesn’t skip the cardio exercises that help her shed any extra pounds. Another favorite activity of Jennifer Lopez is dancing. All in all, her fitness routine is highly disciplined!
