Jennifer Lopez Stuns in Spiderweb Dress and Sparkling Diamonds!

She found herself in a bind.

Jennifer Lopez honored her character from “Kiss Of The Spider Woman” by donning a daring, translucent spiderweb gown at composer John Kander’s 98th birthday celebration this past Monday.

The 55-year-old star and music icon dazzled attendees in a revealing black knit dress paired with a voluminous oversized shawl, both pieces from Zuhair Murad’s Fall 2023 line.

Fashion stylist Rob Zangardi helped Lopez complete her look with an array of diamond accessories from Yeprem, featuring a bold choker, a chain bracelet, and striking statement earrings.

Ever the fashionista, Lopez had multiple outfits for the night.

Upon her arrival at the charity concert in New York City, where she performed, Lopez encountered a slight wardrobe snag. Her peach-colored, deep-V dress from The New Arrivals by Ilkyaz Ozel, priced at $835, shifted too much to one side. She layered up with a matching feather jacket from the same brand, tagged at $3,615.

Later, at the afterparty held at Bryant Park Grill, Lopez was the center of attention in a pristine white Stephane Rolland gown featuring a high neckline and a daring slit up the thigh, from the designer’s Fall 2023 collection.

Lopez shared a glimpse into her eventful day with an Instagram Reel.

Her caption read, “36 hours in NY. Happy birthday to the legendary John Kander. Honored to follow in the footsteps of the great Chita Rivera and be your Spider Woman ”

Kander, renowned for his compositions, is involved in the upcoming film adaptation where Lopez portrays Ingrid Luna, an actress whose story unfolds in an Argentinian prison, inspired by the original stage musical.

Since January, Lopez has been showcasing spider-themed ensembles on the red carpet, beginning with her appearance at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival premiere. There, she wore a luxurious rhinestone-studded web dress valued at $2,485 by Albanian designer Valdrin Sahiti, and later, a coordinating catsuit.
