During a recent performance in Glasgow, Scotland, JoJo Siwa boldly removed an attendee from her concert.
This incident, captured by audience members and circulated on TikTok, features the pop star pausing her “Infinity Heart” tour to confront a spectator who had drawn her attention.
“You’re not going to come to my concert and wear a hoodie that mocks me. No way! No way, man!” she exclaimed, receiving cheers from the surrounding crowd.
“Thanks for showing up, appreciate it! But in here, we’re all about infinite love, right?”
Security quickly stepped in to remove the disruptive concert-goer while Siwa continued, “Not in my house, baby. We’ve got no room for that. No room at all!”
The specifics of the hoodie’s design that upset the 22-year-old, whose birth name is Joelle Joanie Siwa, remain unknown.
Siwa had just started the European segment of her tour the previous week in Dublin, Ireland, where her boyfriend, Chris Hughes, made a surprise appearance.
The couple delighted fans by reenacting a dance from their stint on “Celebrity Big Brother UK” earlier this year, where their relationship began.
Siwa humorously addressed her audience about her boyfriend’s popularity, saying, “I know we all adore Chris Hughes, but he’s my boyfriend, and I want him to enjoy the show!
“If he turns to take another selfie, I’m going to ask you to refrain, alright? Feel free to snap his photo from a distance, or record him watching, but please let him enjoy the performance!”
Their romance started under unusual circumstances when Hughes, aged 32, stood up for Siwa—then identifying as gay—against co-star Mickey Rourke, who targeted her over her sexuality during their reality show.
After Hughes confronted him, Rourke was expelled from the “Big Brother” house due to “threatening and aggressive behavior.”
During their time together on the show, Siwa and the “Love Island UK” star grew close, prompting Siwa to reconsider her sexual identity.
She later shared with the cameras that their connection made her realize she wasn’t lesbian, but queer.
Shortly after this self-discovery, Siwa ended her three-month relationship with her non-binary partner Kath Ebbs, sparking rumors of a romance with Hughes.
Although initially denying any romantic involvement, they were spotted kissing during a vacation in Mexico in May. Siwa officially confirmed their relationship in an interview a month later, admitting it had become romantic.
“It’s been a wonderful evolution, a deep connection, and I’m completely in love with him, as he is with me,” she revealed to the Guardian. “I never speak for him, but personally, the joy in my life is palpable.”
A month after going public, Hughes expressed to the Sun’s Fabulous Magazine his desire to marry Siwa.
“I often imagine our wedding day… It would be a traditional English ceremony, and I can picture her in a full bridal gown,” he shared, adding that they both envision starting a family.
“We come from loving families. My mom adores her. She’s my best friend. I cherish that we can do nothing together and still have the greatest time. That means everything to me.”
While they have not made any immediate plans to cohabitate, they continue to travel between the UK and the US to nurture their relationship.
