As Fallon displayed a photo of the pair attending a Stevie Nicks concert in London, Johnson revealed, “That’s my sweater he’s wearing.”
Johnson explained with a laugh, “He often borrows my clothes.”
The star of “50 Shades of Grey” described Pascal as typically being “underdressed.” She clarified, “I mean, he’s just in a T-shirt when it’s cold out. It’s not like he’s forgetting his pants or anything.”
During her own appearance on the late-night show, Johnson experienced a slight wardrobe issue.
Upon sitting down, she noticed the revealing nature of her deep V-neck Ferragamo blazer, priced at $2,900, and exclaimed, “Oh god.”
Fallon, concerned, asked, “Are you okay?” The moment led to some awkward laughter between the two, with Johnson admitting, “This was the wrong outfit choice.”
Fallon couldn’t help but laugh, assuring her the outfit was “perfect” and playfully advised, “Just try not to move too much.”
Johnson, styled by Kate Young and also wearing a matching black Ferragamo miniskirt worth $1,490, humorously reminded, “My eyes are up here.”
About the Film “Materialists”
“Materialists,” which features Chris Evans alongside Johnson and Pascal, is set to release in theaters on June 13.
In the film, Johnson plays Lucy, a New York City matchmaker torn between Harry (Pascal), who seems to be her ideal match, and her former boyfriend John (Evans).
Amidst the promotional tour for the movie, there are swirling rumors regarding Johnson’s breakup with longtime boyfriend Chris Martin after eight years together. An insider told People, “It feels final this time.”

This was further fueled by sightings of Johnson without her usual emerald engagement ring.
