Katy Perry Rocks Iconic Polka-Dotted Bra & Skirt 17 Years Later!

Katy Perry is reminiscing with a nostalgic ensemble she recently revived.

Through her charitable organization, the Firework Foundation, which she established in 2018, Perry has launched a 21-day raffle event. During this event, she plans to auction pieces from her historical stage outfits.

As she prepares to offer up several of her memorable outfits, Perry decided to don one of these classic ensembles one last time.

This Tuesday at Cardiff Castle in Wales, Perry showcased a striking two-piece outfit she had first worn 17 years ago.

Now at 41, Perry took to the stage in a vibrant red and white polka-dot halter bralette paired with a miniskirt. She completed the look with thigh-high white socks and black platform sandals.

This particular outfit was last seen on Perry at the Capital Summertime Ball at Emirates Stadium in London back in July 2009.

During the show, Perry also switched into a different outfit, sporting a white button-down shirt styled as a dress, which bore the phrase “I am not a robot” and was accessorized with a crystal-studded American flag tie.

Following the performance, Perry posted both outfits on Instagram, captioning the photos with, “Learned a wee bit of Welsh. Good to see you again Cardigg and rydw I’n llwglyd ac hoffwn gael cabab .”

More outfits are set to be unveiled as part of the sweepstakes. So far, this includes four additional bustier tops with miniskirts, ranging from a blue sequin stage outfit to a pink ruffled two-piece, both of which were part of her 2009 “Hello Katy” tour wardrobe.

Perry is currently touring Europe with her “Out of Office Tour” and plans to reveal a new piece from her archive at each show.
