Matthew McConaughey’s daughter, Vida, who bears a striking resemblance to her mother Camila Alves, was seen at a women’s college basketball game on Thursday evening. The event was a face-off between the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Tennessee.

The 15-year-old mirrored her mother’s looks while sitting courtside, dressed in a cropped T-shirt that showed her support for the Longhorns, coupled with baggy jeans and white sneakers.

Vida, who wore her dark hair loose, complemented her casual attire with several bangles, a necklace, and hoop earrings.

Her father, Matthew McConaughey, opted for a rugged look, donning a tan leather jacket, denim jeans with a belt, and a basic white T-shirt.

The Academy Award-winning actor, aged 55, and his wife, aged 41, are also parents to two boys—Levi, 16, and Livingston, 12.

Celebrating Vida’s 15th Birthday

When Vida celebrated her 15th birthday earlier in the month, McConaughey took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message. He praised her technological savvy and her passion for horticulture, signing off with “Love Papai.”

Camila Alves also marked the occasion by posting throwback photos of her daughter, describing Vida as a “force of a girl” and expressing her deep love.

Vida Steps into the Spotlight

Although Alves and McConaughey have generally kept their children away from extensive media exposure, Vida has started to make more public appearances. In April 2024, she joined her siblings on a rare red carpet event, and in June, she appeared alongside her mother at a New York Fashion Week event. The duo turned heads in matching all-red outfits paired with black shoes at the June 2024 Hermès Birkin runway show, where they were photographed hand in hand.

Camila Alves, a model and fashion designer, has been married to McConaughey since 2012, after meeting him at a nightclub six years earlier.

The couple’s relationship garnered attention again in 2023 when Alves disclosed that McConaughey’s mother, Mary McCabe, initially had a challenging relationship with her, often mispronouncing her name and speaking in an exaggeratedly broken Spanish. Despite this, McConaughey has consistently defended his 93-year-old mother, emphasizing that his family values humor and comedy.
