In July 2008, the arrival of Knox and Vivienne to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt caused a media frenzy to secure the first pictures of the twins.
An insider informed Today that People and Hello! magazines secured a joint deal, shelling out $14 million for the exclusive pictures.
The twins appeared with their celebrity parents on the cover of People’s August issue three weeks after they were born.
The couple, who were together from 2004 until 2016, are said to have donated the funds to charitable causes.
Max and Emme Muniz — $6 million
In February 2008, Jennifer Lopez and her then-husband Marc Anthony welcomed their twins, Max and Emme Muniz.
Reports suggest that People magazine paid between $4 million and $6 million for the first glimpse of the twins, as stated by the magazine’s digital platform.
However, a representative for the magazine later claimed that these figures were not accurate, according to Forbes.
Shiloh Jolie-Pitt — $4 million
Born in May 2006 to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, who later dropped their father’s surname in 2024, debuted in a $4 million photo deal with People magazine, reported by ABC News.
The cover featured the family, with Pitt gazing at the newborn and Jolie looking lovingly at Pitt.
Levi Alves McConaughey — $3 million
Matthew McConaughey and his wife, Camila Alves, welcomed their son Levi Alves McConaughey in July 2008.
TMZ reported that Hello! magazine paid the couple $3 million for the first photos of their baby, which featured the family on the magazine’s August 2008 cover.
Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt — $2 million
