Like Taylor Swift and Pamela Anderson before her, Sabrina Carpenter opted for a retro, boudoir-inspired ensemble during her guest appearance on “Late Night with Seth Meyers” this past Monday.

Although her outfit may not be typical for a Las Vegas headline act, it certainly holds a special place in the annals of fashion history, having been originally modeled by the legendary Claudia Schiffer. The piece debuted on the runway at the Chantal Thomass show during the fall of 1994, showcasing the renowned French lingerie designer’s flair.

The outfit consisted of a white bodice paired with a black jacket that was styled double-breasted and left open. A mini skirt with a playful, frilly edge extended into elegant white chiffon layers that flowed gracefully.

Completing her look, Sabrina wore towering platform stiletto heels by Christian Louboutin.

Her blonde curls loosely framed her face as she talked about wrapping up her “Short n’ Sweet” tour. During the interview, Meyers humorously brought up a TikTok video Carpenter shared, where she bid farewell to certain amusing aspects of her tour performances.

In the video, captions included playful farewells such as, “Saying goodbye to the heart pit where I pretended to be shocked by the surprise song,” and “The stairs that humbled my ass one too many times.”

The 26-year-old singer recently found herself at odds with the Trump administration. The issue arose after her music was used without her approval in a contentious commercial by ICE. Sabrina took to social media to express her displeasure, stating, “Do not ever involve me or my music to benefit your inhumane agenda.”

Adding to her recent spotlight, Sabrina was celebrated as Variety’s Hitmaker of the Year. In her acceptance speech, she inspired her peers with a call to “write the music you want to listen to yourself.”
