Shocking Video: ‘Reacher’ Star Alan Ritchson Allegedly Assaults Neighbor in Front of Children

Alan Ritchson, known for his role in “Reacher,” is accused of attacking his neighbor during a confrontation in Tennessee this past Sunday.

A video released by TMZ shows Ritchson striking a man who was on his knees numerous times during the incident.

The altercation was witnessed by two young boys, presumably Ritchson’s sons, from their motorcycles, as Ritchson’s own car was abandoned nearby.

Ronnie Taylor, the alleged victim, claims he was hit by Ritchson “at least four times.” Taylor provided photographs to the media showing the bruises on his face.

Taylor has since reported the incident to the police. Authorities have confirmed that an investigation is ongoing, though no arrests have been made so far.

The conflict reportedly began the previous day when Ritchson allegedly raced his green Kawasaki motorcycle through the neighborhood, causing a disturbance with the loud noise of the engine.

Taylor confessed to making an obscene gesture at Ritchson, which the actor reciprocated.

The next day, Ritchson returned with his two younger sons. When Taylor confronted him to “please stop this,” the situation escalated.

Representatives for Ritchson have yet to respond to inquiries for comments from the media.

However, insiders close to Ritchson claim he did not start the altercation. They allege that he was knocked off his bike twice by Taylor, who they describe as “really aggressive,” before the physical confrontation occurred.

Ritchson reportedly sustained minor injuries including a finger wound and several cuts and bruises.

Since the incident, neither Ritchson nor his wife has made any statements on social media.

Alan and his wife Catherine, who got married in May 2006, were high school sweethearts. Catherine is currently 37 years old.

The couple previously resided in Florida, but according to a March 2024 interview with Men’s Health, they decided to sell their home. Ritchson explained that the decision was made to accommodate his career, which often requires him to be away from home. Now, the family lives in various Airbnbs and hotels to stay together during his projects.
