Debuting with three episodes tonight, Jan. 21, on FX and also available on Hulu, “The Beauty” is inspired by the comic book series crafted by Jeremy Haun and Jason A. Hurley.
The show features a regular from previous Murphy projects, Evan Peters, alongside stars such as Ashton Kutcher, Anthony Ramos, Jeremy Pope, and Rebecca Hall.
The plot centers around an FBI probe into several mysterious deaths connected to “the Beauty,” a sexually transmitted formula that makes its users extraordinarily attractive. As fear of this epidemic grows, the FBI’s efforts to uncover the truth about the drug and its origins intensify amidst various conflicting agendas.
