Earlier this month during their time at the Isle of Wight Festival UK country music duo Ward Thomas confirmed they were heading to Germany at the end the year for a concert but it seems their German fans wont have to wait until that long in the year to see the record breakers in the flesh as the twins will be supporting Chris De Burgh during his concert in Germany next month.
The 23-year-old Catherine and Lizzy who made chart history last year by becoming the first ever British country music act to score a number 1 album on the Official UK Album Chart, and the first country act from anywhere since Shania Twain back in 1999 with the ‘Come On Over’ release, with their sublime LP ‘Cartwheels’, will support De Burgh at his gig on July 4th at Tanzbrunnen Köln.
During the summer Ward Thomas will also be visiting Holland when they support US country legend Miranda Lambert on her European tour this August. Giving European fans a chance to see the girls live.
