Gasoline & Matches – ‘Not Into Country’ out Today!
Gasoline and Matches are back with their brand new single ‘Not Into Country’ and it’s out now! Released today, ‘Not Into Country’ is a follow up to their hit singles ‘Fool’s Gold’ and ‘If You Wanna Stay’.
Sally Rea Morris, one half of duo and author of our ‘Country State of Mind’ series, states:
‘This song was part of the process of getting over an ex-boyfriend. It’s the realisation that life goes on. Sometimes you have to take the lessons learnt and remember to just keep breathing because it’s all going to be ok! …Even if they don’t give you your guitar case back!’
‘Not Into Country’ sees Sally deliver a real edgy vibe to the lyrics and is full of attitude from the very first bar, and no Gasoline and Matches track is complete without Steve Marks excellent guitar work. The duo were recently nominated in the ‘Duo of the Year’ category at British Country Music Awards, and it would be no surprise, if their opening three releases are anything to go by, if they won the award!
