Melanie Meriney Releases ‘Flame’ Video

‘Flame’ from Melanie Meriney was one of my favourite songs in 2018 after it’s November release and today I’m delighted to feature the official video. On the release of Flame, I wrote the following, ‘‘Flame’ is a new song from Melanie and it touches on those encounters with an ex, where you make small talk and everything seems OK on the outside, but it’s a very different situation on the inside. We’ve all been there and Melanie articulates this brilliantly, in this slower number from the Pittsburgh born singer. This is stripped back with the singer taking centre stage and you can’t help but get drawn in by the emotive vocals of Melanie Meriney. A gorgeous song from an artist who is destined to go far!’

This video is the perfect accompaniment to the song, with the focus 100% on Melanie throughout, looking incredible in a stunning blue dress. Like the song, the video has a classic, timeless feel, which is added to by the candles scattered around the scene (which also give a nod to the song’s title), while Melanie’s performance brings those emotive vocals to life.
