Out Now – Ashley Monroe’s ‘Sparrow Acoustic Sessions’ EP

The wonderful Ashley Monroe has just completed her tour of UK and Europe where she performed songs from her critically acclaimed ‘Sparrow’ album and more. Now Ashley has released her ‘Sparrow Acoustic Sessions EP’, featuring stripped down version of five of the traps from the album – ‘Orphan’. ‘Hands on You’, ‘Wild Love’, ‘Paying Attention’ ad ‘Keys to the Kingdom’.

It’s between an incredibly busy time for Ashley, as alongside her solo projects, she and the rest of the Pistol Annies recently released their incredible ‘Interstate Gospel’ album.

Ashley Monroe, who I’ve stated previously ‘has possibly the best voice in country music’, made a tremendous impact on her recent tour to the UK. As well as the London shows, Ashley also appeared at the Sugar Factory in Amsterdam, at Interstate 19 Americana Weekend in Oslo, Norway and at Glasgow’s Celtic Connections Festival. She concluded the sold-out run as a featured presenter for the International Artist of the Year Award at the UK Americana Award Show in London.
