Becky Lawrence ‘Now’ Video Premiere
Today sees the release of ‘Now’, the new single from Belles and Gals ambassador Becky Lawrence and we are delighted to feature the premiere of the lyric video!
This is Becky’s first release since her 2017 EP, ‘What it Takes’ and it sees the south-west based artist adopt a more traditional country sound. The song sends out an important message about living in the ‘now’, while the instrumentation mixed with Becky’s outstanding vocals creates something truly wonderful – if this is a sign of what we can expect from Becky going forward, we’ve all got a lot to look forward to!

‘Now’ is a song that has completely come from my heart and soul. Over the past two years I’ve been on what can only be described as a roller coaster of a ride through life which found me dealing with a lot of new and exciting things, as well as learning to cope with some quite dark times. Throughout the ups and downs, I was constantly having to remind myself to make sure I was taking the time to be present, in the ‘now’. Bringing Hugh Webber on board as my co-write definitely helped boost the message and imagery we wanted to get across to the listeners, as a reminder that even though we all have our hopes and dreams, don’t forget to focus on what is right in front of you and be thankful for each and every day. With the help of my guitarist David Griffin and his daughter Kate, we managed to create a more rounded, traditional country sound, something different from my previous releases but hopefully just as enjoyable!
