Lauren Davidson Announces New Single ‘Love Ain’t Fair

New York City-based singer/songwriter Lauren Davidson is ready to take the country music world by storm this year thanks to the release of her forthcoming EP titled ‘Love Ain’t Fair’. The much-anticipated record will drop later this year and is supported by the title track which will be dropping this coming Valentine’s Day.

February 14th is an apt yet tongue-in-cheek release date for the track with it being an anti-Valentine’s anthem – it’s a song for all those looking to celebrate the day in a different way. Davidson shines with her soaring vocals and gives a polished performance that delivers on the promise her voice holds.

With her musical output, Lauren Davidson combines country sounds with urban stylistics creating a sound that is uniquely her own – she’s an artist that has the world at her feet as we begin the new decade.

Speaking about her brand new upcoming single release and forthcoming EP project, Lauren says: “I’ve been working on new music for a little while now and I’m really excited to release the first single off of this project. This single is the title track of my new EP – Love Ain’t Fair EP – that I co-produced which is a first for me and I’m giving it to you in 5 parts. It’s 5 different songs about love but not your traditional love songs. Songs about finding love, losing love, fighting for love, loving yourself. This song, Love Ain’t Fair stemmed from the idea of love triangles. Sometimes you love him but he loves her and you can’t always be with the one you want to be with. Love is many different things but it isn’t fair.
