Georgia Barker – ‘Dream Big’ Out Now
Last Friday saw the release of ‘Dream Big’, the debut single from Georgia Barker. Georgia is an artist we’ve featured a number of times at Belles and Gals and we were lucky enough to have her play at a recent showcase in London! And now we’re delighted that she has music out there, so everyone can hear exactly how good she is. Georgia has an exciting time ahead, as she is heading out to Nashville for 3 weeks where she will be both gigging and writing – ahead of an EP release later in the year!
‘Dream Big’ is a lovely track where the artist looks back on her childhood and the lessons given to her by her parents. ‘I really wouldn’t change a thing about my life right now, I just wish I could go back and hear you sing out loud, Dream Big, little girl‘.
The song has a stripped back feel, although the piano and pedal steel combination works brilliantly alongside Georgia’s effortlessly pure vocals, while a guitar solo adds an extra dimension to the song. A fantastic debut from an artist who we can expect a lot from in the future!
