Long Road Festival 2022: Brandy Clark, Lauren Alaina, Cassadee Pope & More Set to Perform
Making a return to the gloriously picturesque setting of Stanford Hall, Leicestershire for 2022 – The Long Road Festival is bringing a stellar line up of the best in Country and Americana with over 30 acts announced today. Taking place on 26th-28th August 2022, acts including The Cadillac Three, Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives, Brandy Clark, LOCASH are set to bring the world of Country and Americana to the midlands.
The three-day event aims to not only celebrate some excellent music with carefully selected and curated artists, but also brings an array of displays and events to appeal to fans of the USA (including muscle car and vintage motorcycle displays). Revelers will also have an opportunity to sample an array of food and drink options from a variety of vendors coupled with the southern hospitality UK fans have come to love.
Alongside Sunday main stage headliners, The Cadillac Three, Grammy award-winning Country music legend Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives and a UK exclusive performance by LOCASH, the festival is bringing an excellent selection of industry leading women from throughout the USA. From renowned storytelling extraordinaire songwriter Brandy Clark to Country-Pop songstress Lauren Alaina to Country-Pop Punk vocalist Cassadee Pope, The Long Road brings an array of artistry from across the genre spectrum. Adding to the exciting collection of females heading across the pond are Sara Evans, Gretchen Peters, Sunny Sweeny, Sarah Darling, Sarah Shook & the Disarmers, Della Mae and more. The Long Road are also bringing singer-songwriter Rissi Palmer and her Apple Music show ‘Color Me Country’ to the festival. Palmer’s show shines a light on marginalised Black, Indigenous, and Latinx artists and history in the genre.
As well as shining a light on the incredible females and under-represented groups in the genre, the festival is also providing a platform to showcase the excellent talent in the UK and Ireland. The homegrown Country, Bluegrass and folk talents include Hudson Taylor, Callum Pitt, Morganway, Jade Helliwell, Jess Thristan, Flats & Sharps and Noble Jacks.
Speaking of the festival and the new dates Baylen Leonard, Creative Director says “We couldn’t be more excited to share our first announcement of artists for TLR22! There’s something for every music lover across our 4 stages, from firm favourites to new discoveries, it’s all about showcasing just how broad country, americana, and roots music is. Plus now that we’ve moved to the August bank holiday, there’s even more time to enjoy the beautiful setting of Stanford Hall in the Leicestershire countryside. We can’t wait to welcome you back next year!”
3-day camping and individual day tickets for Saturday and Sunday are on sale from 9am Thursday 25th November. The festival is also offering payment plans with an initial payment of just £22 to pay immediately and further instalments due in April 2022.
The Long Road takes place between 26th-28th August Bank Holiday Weekend 2022 at Stanford Hall, Leicestershire. Day tickets are currently £45 and weekend tickets start from £110 (subject to booking fees).
