However, according to a decree published in the Official Journal on November 7, 2019, these dates may shift, especially when the 5th is during the weekend or a public holiday. In such cases, recipients will receive their payments on the next business day. “If the 5th falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the CAF will make the payment on the closest business day (excluding weekends and public holidays)“, the Caf explains.
