Keltie Knight Opens Up About Her Facelift Decision
Keltie Knight, known for her role as an E! host and co-founder of “LadyGang,” recently shared her journey of undergoing a facelift at the age of 41. In a deeply personal essay for Glamour, she explores the intense pressures of beauty standards in Hollywood that influenced her decision.

Over the years, Knight faced increasing self-criticism, extreme dieting, and numerous cosmetic procedures. Her career as a television personality placed her alongside some of the world’s most stunning celebrities, intensifying her insecurities.
Early Cosmetic Interventions
At 35, Knight opted for a less invasive neck lift performed by Dr. Jason Diamond in Los Angeles, who informed her that the results would likely hold for about five years. Fast forward to 2023, while she was hosting and producing the show “Superfan” on CBS, her makeup team found themselves creatively concealing her sagging skin with turtlenecks during shoots.
This led her to finally decide on getting a comprehensive facelift, a decision that was fraught with personal reservations.
“The guilt of actually proceeding with it was overwhelming,” Knight admits in her essay. Despite being aware of younger women who embrace their cosmetic choices, the stigma at her age was palpable for her.
The Surgical Experience
What was anticipated to be a three to four-hour procedure extended to nearly nine hours. Dr. Diamond discovered significant scar tissue, a result of previous fillers, thread lifts, and microneedling treatments.
Dr. Diamond, a renowned plastic surgeon whose clientele includes high-profile names like the Kardashian-Jenners and Chrissy Teigen, emphasizes his goal of achieving undetectable enhancements.
“My aim is to enhance the most famous faces globally, helping them appear timeless without obvious signs of cosmetic intervention,” he shared with Page Six Style in 2023.
Post-Procedure Satisfaction
Despite the extensive surgery, Knight was able to return to her on-camera duties within two weeks, praising Dr. Diamond’s meticulous work.
“It was like a bespoke masterpiece. A tailor-made facelift,” she expressed with satisfaction.
In her essay, Knight also disclosed manipulating her weight data to obtain a prescription for a weight loss medication, GLP-1, losing about seven to eight pounds. “I wasn’t about to miss out on this trend,” she commented.
Public Revelation and Peer Support
Another former E! personality, Catt Sadler, had previously shared her experience with facial and eye lifts at 48 in a 2023 Glamour article, showing a growing trend of transparency about cosmetic surgery in the industry.
Knight’s own revelation came during Rachel Zoe’s disco-themed birthday party, later aired on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” When fellow guest Dorit Kemsley remarked on her youthful appearance, Knight decided to embrace her truth.
“Suddenly, I thought, why not just embrace it? What if being open about getting a facelift at 41 is actually liberating?” she reflected.
Her forthcoming book, “The F–k Them Theory,” is set to be released on November 17, promising more insights into her empowering personal philosophy.
