The actress advocates for a traditional approach aimed at preserving hair quality, maintaining volume, and keeping a natural texture.

“I have a lot of hair. You can use all the hairspray you like, style it any way you want,” she says. To achieve her silky curls, she sticks with a tool that our grandmothers were already familiar with: the hair roller. “I’m very traditional; I use rollers and hairnets for setting my hair. I think it makes the hair beautiful, not too sleek, and it’s less damaging than using flat irons and such.” By avoiding harsh heat, she thus molds the shape of her hair while protecting it from dryness.

Her other secret is more surprising. In a pinch, she doesn’t hesitate to use… dish soap. “As a last resort, I’ve washed my hair with lemon dish soap. You should always keep some dish soap on hand in a small bottle“. This makeshift solution brings lightness when regular shampoo is unavailable. However, on a regular basis, she prefers more sophisticated formulas: “Honestly, I don’t do much for my hair. I really like Shu Uemura shampoos.”
