Michèle Laroque is committed to her health and wellness, taking great care to maintain her fitness. At 65, the actress frequently shares her daily tips and tricks with her followers. Having previously posted videos on how to firm up her arms and back, she has now turned her attention to her hips and waist in her latest Instagram video.
Michèle Laroque advocates a gentle approach to exercise, focusing on consistency over intensity to keep her figure. “And here you go, as promised! The movements for the hips and waist,” she captions her brief video. Always in good spirits, she demonstrates step-by-step how to enhance mobility and avoid joint problems after turning 60. All this, without breaking a sweat and without any equipment.
The first exercise involves swaying her hips side to side, then moving them back and forth before making a circle clockwise and then counterclockwise. While performing this, she notes that “it’s important to keep your knees bent” throughout the exercise. Michèle suggests doing this at least five times on each side.
For the second exercise, begin by placing both hands on the lower belly. Then push the right shoulder to the side, followed by the left, and continue alternating before pushing the chest out, pulling it back in, and completing a full rotation. These movements should also be performed five times each. According to Michèle, that’s all it takes to stay fit at her age!
