This car seat clinched the prestigious trophy in its category, awarded by juries chaired by Estelle Balit, the national delegate for road safety. “For nearly a decade, the Innovation Awards and Challenges have highlighted all the creative efforts in a field that concerns us all: saving lives on the road,” she stated.
The secret is now out: the winner is the Anoris T2 i-Size model, developed by CYBEX. This seat, suitable for children from 15 months to about 7 years old (or from 76 to 125 cm), features a revolutionary safety technology—an integrated full airbag system concealed within an impact shield. This system provides unprecedented protection for the child, especially in frontal collisions. Moreover, while 80% of parents switch their child to a forward-facing position too soon, this car seat model offers a safe compromise for interacting with your child while driving.
This year’s Innovation Award, celebrating a decade of supporting practical solutions for safer roads, highlighted this model among 60 entries and 29 nominees. For Etienne Engrand, General Manager of the brand, “Receiving this award at the 10th edition is a particularly special honor“. He further noted that this accolade underscores a crucial issue: “turning technical inventiveness into a tangible shield to protect families.” This significant technological advancement reminds us of the importance of using expert-approved equipment and always ensuring that children are securely fastened before setting off.
