Travis Kelce is gearing up for his 13th NFL season.

During a recent episode of “New Heights,” the Kansas City Chiefs star spoke about his decision to return for another season.

The topic arose when his sibling, Jason Kelce, inquired about Travis’s approach to significant life choices.

At 35, the tight end shared, “I handle it the same way I tackle everything else. I go with my instincts. I’m not one to weigh every single pro and con.”

Travis prefers to rely on his “instincts” instead.

Jason, aged 37, expressed admiration, saying, “That’s what I admire about you—you have a great way of not getting hung up on the trivial, nagging worries about potential outcomes or what-ifs.”

The ESPN commentator confessed his envy of his brother’s capacity to make decisions without hesitation or doubt.

Travis mentioned that he never doubted his “duty” to fulfill the last year of his contract, deciding to “go for it as soon as I felt sure.”

The former star of “Catching Kelce” feels he can still perform “at a top level” and aims to redeem himself for recent disappointments on the field, notably mentioning the 2025 Super Bowl.

“I’m determined to make a strong comeback. The way last season ended left a sour taste in my mouth, considering how I performed and my level of accountability to my teammates.”

The ex-reality TV star stirred retirement speculations in February after his Missouri-based team was decisively beaten by the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX.

Nevertheless, Travis confirmed his decision to continue playing in a message to ESPN’s Pat McAfee last month.

“I’m coming back, definitely,” he texted in February. “I’m going to get into the best shape this offseason and aim for the peak again… I can’t end it like that!!!!”

He admitted on Wednesday that he “might have considered retirement more” had he won and been able to “exit on a high note.”

Following his high-profile loss, Travis has been keeping a low profile with his girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

Not only did the couple enjoy a secluded getaway recently, but they also felt “fortunate” to have a low-key date night soon after.

After a hectic year for both, including Travis’s NFL season and the pop star’s massively successful Eras Tour, they “had a really nice time reconnecting,” a source told Page Six.

The pair started dating in the summer of 2023.
