Ward Thomas Cover ‘Sigrid’s ‘High Five’ For New Doormat Session

Ward Thomas’ Doormat Session on YouTube has been given a make-over for their new Instagram Instazine which is a social magazine that features the series ‘Restless Voices’ ‘ which is a chat-show style collection of episodes that see Catherine and Lizzy talking to a variety of artists, producers and other famous faces about issues such as anxiety, streaming, mental health and much more

The latest Instazine features 2013 Great British Bake Off winner Frances Quinn, and sees the record making British Country duo asking about how baking helps mindfulness and more. It’s another great insight into the working of the mind and offers some brilliant insight into what it takes to reach a place of contentedness.

But the Instazine is also very much about the music and Ward Thomas have shared their latest Doormat Session today (Thursday, November, 29th) and their latest instalment sees them covering Sigrid’s global smash-hit ‘High Five’.

And the girls take the song in a whole new direction and elevate it to brilliant levels with their gorgeous vocal sibling harmonies. The strings arrangement also gives it a country crossover tinge making it sound completely fresh and totally unique to them. This could be an original Ward Thomas release.

Ward Thomas will be hitting the road next year for their biggest headlining UK tour to date in support of their third studio album ‘Restless Minds‘ which drops on February, 1st!
