Nikki Lane Album and Single News
Nikki Lane has announced that her next album, “Denim & Diamonds“, is set for release on September 23rd via New West Records with the lead single “First High” available on all streaming platforms now along with the accompanying official music video.
Talking about the single, which she co-wrote with Gabe Simon, Nikki shares “This song is about chasing that feeling of the first roller coaster, the first drag of a cigarette, that first kiss. Those moments are harder to come by the older we get, yet only get better each time. The video captures that feeling of being young in a small town on a summer day, and the lack of inhibition that came with it“.
Although this will be the first album for five years from the South Carolina native, the follow up to the stellar 2017’s “Highway Queen”, Nikki has been keeping busy collaborating with alt pop artist Lana Del Rey on her album ‘Chemtrails Over The Country Club’ released last year.
The upcoming 10 track project was produced and mixed by Joshua Homme at his Pink Duck Studios in Burbank, CA, and will be available digitally, in CD format and in numerous vinyl variations which include a limited to 1000 blue and grey marble autographed edition featuring deluxe, die cut packaging .
