An informant disclosed to Page Six that Harris was dining with some notable figures from Hollywood, noting, “The table was filled with individuals involved in producing and directing; it definitely seemed focused on entertainment development.”
An observer at the venue noted that Harris, aged 60, chose a booth that faced the wall, occupying it with about half a dozen companions.
This observer further mentioned, “There weren’t any paparazzi out front. Her husband was present. It seemed like they were joined by other couples.”
According to the same source, Harris and Emhoff, who is also 60, spent more than two hours at the venue. The source remarked, “The security presence wasn’t heavy. There wasn’t any commotion around her. Her booth was quite full, and she seemed to be in good spirits.”
Yet another insider familiar with Harris emphasized that the gathering was purely social, not a professional meeting to discuss new ventures.
Speculations Stir About Harris’s Future Endeavors
Following her electoral defeat to Donald Trump, speculation has been rife about Harris’s next steps. She has returned to her home state of California, although reports have surfaced that Emhoff has been seen checking out a plush $20,000-per-month condo in New York’s Upper West Side.
Harris has previously declared, “It is not my nature to go quietly into the night. So, don’t worry about that.” There’s talk she might consider a run for governor of California in the upcoming election.
It’s worth noting that various political figures have transitioned into entertainment roles after their political careers. For instance, Barack and Michelle Obama entered into a multiyear agreement with Netflix, while a deal worth $100 million was struck between Netflix and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
