Celebrating the ten-year anniversary of her influential album “Lemonade,” Beyoncé was surrounded by close relatives and friends in Beverly Hills, where she not only paid tribute to her previous work but also dropped hints of possible new tunes on the horizon.
On a Sunday evening, Beyoncé took to Instagram to share a series of photos without any captions, stunning everyone in a majestic, purple Saint Laurent dress.
This elaborate dress featured dramatically puffed shoulders that transitioned into flowing sleeves, complementing her naturally curly hair that cascaded down her back, echoing the gown’s silhouette.
In a particularly bold photo, Beyoncé lowered the dress’s neckline to just beneath her chest, revealing a coordinating purple lace bra underneath.
The look seemed to be a nod to the layered yellow Roberto Cavalli dress she wore in the September 2016 “Hold Up” music video, where she also sported similarly styled crimped hair and wielded a baseball bat emblazoned with “hot sauce.”
Beyoncé’s accessories included pleated satin slingback heels, a large pearl orb handbag by Cult Gaia priced at $498, and a matching pearl drop necklace from Julietta valued at $287.
During the same weekend, Beyoncé made a more laid-back post on social media. She was photographed standing alone on a desolate beach, clutching a bottle of her own SirDavis whiskey in one hand and three lemons in the other, captioning it, “Cheers to ten years! With love and deep gratitude ,”
She also shared a snapshot of the evening’s cuisine, with her purple phone case in view, leading fans to speculate about the significance of the color theme.
Fans quickly reacted, with one commenting, “SHE IN HER PRINCE ERA,” and another adding, “Okkk Mrs. Purple rain!”
There’s widespread speculation that Beyoncé’s next album phase, following 2022’s disco-themed “Renaissance” and the expected 2024 country album “Cowboy Carter,” might delve into rock music, drawing heavy inspiration from Prince.
Whether Beyoncé is gearing up to announce new projects soon remains to be seen, but it’s clear she’s preparing for a significant moment in the spotlight.
The renowned singer is set to co-host the 2026 Met Gala on May 6, making her first return to the prestigious event since 2016.
Is this timing just a coincidence? Only time will tell.
