Puerto Rico’s own Bad Bunny is currently dominating the global stage, not just in the music charts but also in the realms of high fashion.
He thought he was rescuing a sheep—but it turned out to be something else
This bizarre French customer habit is driving shop owners crazy
Bad Bunny, the internationally acclaimed singer, actor, and fashion icon, graces the cover of Vogue’s Best Dressed 2025 digital edition. He’s impeccably dressed in a sleek tan Valentino suit, complete with vintage-inspired aviator sunglasses and a quirky old-school cap he picked up on eBay.
The feature, captured by photographer Coco Capitán and styled by Harry Lambert, showcases Bad Bunny (real name Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio) looking his absolute best. Considering he’s already been named one of the top fashion figures of the year, that’s quite an accomplishment.
However, his close friend and creative director, Janthony Oliveras, reveals that fashion wasn’t always Bad Bunny’s forte. “In the beginning, his style was pretty subdued—a pair of jeans and some nice sneakers were his go-to,” Janthony explained to Vogue. “We were working with a tight budget, but he loved these chunky red Reeboks and often wore a bandanna around his head, reminiscent of Tupac.”
Nowadays, Bad Bunny works closely with his trusted stylists, Storm Pablo and Marvin Douglas Linares, for nearly all his public appearances.
The primary objective? Authenticity. “He’s very clear about what he wants,” Storm told the magazine. “The most important thing for us is to ensure he doesn’t end up looking like just another mannequin.”
While he might be compared to a fashion model due to his striking looks and physique, Bad Bunny’s personal style remains distinctly unique.
From his 31-night “No Me Quiero Ir De Aquí” residency at San Juan’s Coliseo to his custom Jacquemus and Prada ensembles at the Met Gala, Bad Bunny seizes every chance to showcase his style.
“Jan taught me that if I buy something, I should wear it immediately. There’s no saving outfits for the ‘right occasion,’” he revealed.
Janthony concurred, “We’re living an extraordinary life, so we should dress up whenever we have the chance.”
We’re all eagerly anticipating what this versatile superstar will bring to one of the grandest stages of all: the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show, set to be a predominantly Spanish-language performance, a first in the event’s history.
While he remained tight-lipped about details for this upcoming performance in his interview, Bad Bunny was quick to name his personal pick for 2025’s best-dressed individual.
“I would choose someone who was impeccably dressed at all 31 shows of my residency, without any stylist’s help: Mami,” he declared.
He may be a three-time Grammy winner, Spotify’s most-streamed artist of 2025, and Vogue’s fashion favorite, but it’s heartwarming to see that Bad Bunny still holds a special place in his heart for his mother.
