Christina Hall Vows: No Marriage Without a 5-Year Engagement First!

Update on :
Three-time divorcée Christina Hall: I need to be engaged a ‘minimum’ of 5 years before marrying again

Christina Hall, who has been married three times, stated that she would need to be engaged for at least five years before considering marriage again.

The 41-year-old former “Flip or Flop” celebrity shared with Us Weekly that despite her recent divorce from her third spouse, Josh Hall, she remains hopeful about finding her true love.

“I will always cherish love,” Christina, who has reverted to using her maiden name, Haack, expressed to the magazine.

“I might get married again someday, but definitely not in the near future,” she added.

The TV personality from HGTV emphasized that her next engagement would need to last “at least five years” before she would consider marriage again.

Christina’s first marriage was to Tarek El Moussa, which lasted from 2009 until 2016. Together they have two children, Taylor, 14, and Brayden, 9. El Moussa also has a one-year-old son, Tristan, with his current wife, Heather Rae Young.

Following her first divorce, Christina married Ant Anstead in 2018, who brought two children from a previous relationship into the family. Christina and Ant separated in 2020 and share a five-year-old son, Hudson.

By 2022, Christina had entered into a relationship with Josh Hall, but the couple parted ways in July 2024.

Discussing her recent breakup, Christina told the magazine that she has been “extremely busy, which is likely a good thing.”

“This period has been one of significant personal growth,” she noted, adding that she is not looking to date anyone at the moment.

“I’m genuinely scared of men right now,” the property expert revealed. “I’m taking a break to spend time with my girlfriends and my kids.”

Since her separation from Josh, Christina has grown closer to El Moussa and Young as they collaborate on the show “The Flip Off,” which Josh had initially been a part of before leaving due to their divorce.

Young, who married El Moussa in 2021, shared with the publication, “The team dynamics are better now. Not to sound harsh, but Josh really didn’t gel well with us. It feels like a breath of fresh air now, and Christina is doing really well.”

Christina concurred with Young, stating, “This show isn’t about Josh. It’s unlikely anyone will miss his presence.”

“Josh wasn’t a TV host, a house flipper, or a designer. He was just my husband. Unlike with Tarek, where we built everything together and I still hold him in high regard, I don’t have that respect for Josh,” Christina explained.

Following her filing for divorce from Josh, their separation turned contentious as she accused him of unlawfully transferring $35,000 from her account, an allegation he denies. She also had to pay him $100,000 as they temporarily resolved their property disputes.

Christina also labeled him as “insecure” during their time filming “The Flip Off” and disclosed that it was her children who urged her to leave Josh.
