The star recently had her second child with her husband Cooke Maroney, following the reveal of her pregnancy in October 2024, according to a source who spoke with People on Tuesday.
The publication did not provide additional details regarding the baby’s gender, name, or the exact date of birth.
Attempts to reach Lawrence’s representative for a comment by Page Six have yet to receive a response.
The 34-year-old “Silver Linings Playbook” actress first became a mother in February 2022 with the birth of her son Cy.
Although Lawrence and Maroney, 40, tend to keep their toddler away from the spotlight, Lawrence has occasionally shared glimpses into her experiences with motherhood.
In an interview with Vogue in September 2022, the Academy Award-winning actress shared how her heart expanded in ways she never knew possible after becoming a mother.
“The morning after I gave birth, it felt like my life was beginning anew,” she described. “It was like, ‘Today is the first day of my life.’ I was overwhelmed with love.”
She also revealed to the magazine that Cy was a rainbow baby, born after she had endured several miscarriages.
In a 2023 conversation with Cameron Diaz for Interview magazine, Lawrence expressed her gratitude for Maroney’s exceptional parenting. “Thankfully, my husband is the best father you could imagine,” she remarked. “So, I can work without feeling more guilt than what any parent feels daily.”
The couple first met in 2018 through a mutual friend and started dating shortly thereafter.
Maroney proposed in February 2019, and they exchanged vows in Rhode Island eight months later.
The news that Lawrence and Maroney were expecting their first child broke in 2021.
Lawrence had expressed fluctuating feelings about motherhood, noting to E! News in 2017 that her eagerness to have children had grown since her early 20s, which was causing her some concern. “It’s starting to worry me,” she admitted. “I don’t think that’s how it’s supposed to work!”
