Beth Keeping – ‘Strangers in the Same City’ released tomorrow
Tomorrow sees the release of ‘Strangers in the Same City’ from Beth Keeping. This is the second time we’ve featured Beth on the site (we previously featured her fantastic single ‘Dodged a Bullet’) and both songs will be appearing on Beth’s debut E.P. ‘Fool’ which will be released on the 20th April.
Beth Keeping: ‘The song is an upbeat yet bittersweet country-pop track. It’s about what it feels like to break up with someone in a city like London, which can be huge and yet tiny at the same time… When you end a relationship with someone who isn’t in your social circle you never know whether you’ll bump into them tomorrow or never see them again.’
The track is produced by Tommy Harden (from Lost Hollow, who were so excellent at C2C two weeks ago) who also appears on the track and the song was recorded in Nashville.
This is another winning track from Beth. With fantastic vocals and engaging lyrics in each of her first two singles, this is looking like it will be an E.P. to remember.
