Fast-rising British country music talent Vic Allen is set to take the UK country charts by storm this weekend when she releases her brand new single ‘Enough’ on Friday, August 2nd. The track has a very relatable theme about not feeling like what you have right now is enough, and will whatever comes next make you feel any different?
Millennials, in particular, will feel an instant pull to the lyrics, especially as of right now this generation often feels like where they are in life is the wrong place. We’re always looking for something that will make us truly happy, however, the truth is happiness comes from within.
It’s not about where you are in life, chasing goals, or achievements. Happiness is something that comes from being at peace with whatever’s going on and not being afraid to be open about any challenges you may be facing. And with this track, Vic Allen has been honest about how she often feels like she will never be truly happy with where she is in life.
The song was co-written by the English singer/songwriter and Kaity Rae, speaking about the track, Vic says:
“It’s about the way I feel about life – Even though I know I’m lucky and have lots to be thankful for, I feel like I’m always chasing something else, and I’m worried I’ll never be truly happy with where I am in life”.
‘Enough’ is a really anthemic vibed track set to poignant lyrics about happiness and feeling like you’re always waiting for something. Allen’s vocals are rich and powerful, showcasing her immense talents and proving that she is a shining light within the ever-growing UK country music scene.
Make sure you download and stream ‘Enough’ when it’s officially released this coming Friday!
