Country music legend Miranda Lambert has today (Thursday, August 15th) finally announced details of her much anticipated new studio album. The singer/songwriter has been teasing fans for a while now with new music and snippets of info about the record and today she has officially revealed when we can all get our hands on the CD.
The LP titled ‘Wildcard’ will be dropping on November 1st and is a 14 track collection of songs from the hitmaker including hit singles ‘Mess With My Head’, ‘It All Comes Out In The Wash’, ‘Locomotive’ and newest release ‘Bluebird’ which was shared along with the official announcement this afternoon.
‘Bluebird’ showcases another side to the new record from Lambert and has an atmospheric vibe that differs from the rock-edged production featured on the likes of ‘Locomotive’ and ‘Mess With My Head’. Whilst ‘It All Comes Out In The Wash’ shines a light on the American’s signature sense of humour.
The forthcoming album will be released via Vanner Records/RCA Records Nashville and is Miranda Lambert’s first full-length project overseen by renowned music producer Jay Joyce. The full ‘Wildcard’ tracklist is as follows:
“Mess With My Head”
“It All Comes Out in the Wash”
“Way Too Pretty for Prison”
“How Dare You Love”
Speaking about the direction of this latest collection, Lambert recently told Rolling Stone: “There were some fun moments on The Weight of These Wings, but just that whole portion of my life and art was not the funnest time. With this one, I just wanted to cut loose a little bit.”
Miranda’s Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars Tour, with tour support from the likes of Maren Morris and Elle King, kicks off on Friday, September 13th. The ‘Wildcard‘ LP is available for pre-order now!
