Cooking the potatoes
Wash the potatoes and soak them for at least 15 minutes in cold water. Cook with the skin on, then allow to cool.

Cooking the eggs and bacon
Boil the eggs for 9 minutes. Sauté the bacon bits without added fat. Drain on paper towels.

Adding the ingredients
Wash the cherry tomatoes and cut them in half. Slice the Comté cheese. Peel the potatoes, and cut them into slices or cubes. Peel the eggs and quarter them.

To finish
Combine all ingredients in a bowl, season with salt and pepper, and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with chopped chives and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to blend.
