From dominating the sports field to starring in a fashion campaign.
The cheerleaders of the Dallas Cowboys have recently collaborated with Rent the Runway for a festive campaign that showcases their strength, passion, and personal journeys.
In the promotional material, these iconic cheerleaders are seen wearing a tailored collection of Rent the Runway’s party attire, which adheres to the team’s signature colors of silver, blue, and white. This choice of wardrobe serves as both a festive and elegant extension of their traditional star-adorned vests and briefs.
“I’ll always remember the day I first wore the DCC uniform,” shared Karley Swindel, a 2022 team rookie, with Page Six Style. She described the experience as transformative.
“Seeing myself in the uniform for the first time in the mirror brought me an overwhelming sense of pride, joy, and thankfulness. It took so much effort to earn the right to wear that fabric, and I could hardly believe I was one of the fortunate few to even try it on. I never tire of seeing that uniform in my closet!” she exclaimed.
Swindel, who identifies as “a small-town girl” and “the ultimate Southern belle of the team,” initially felt overwhelmed by the stylishness of the veteran members.
“Over time, I’ve grown comfortable in my own skin and have started to truly enjoy the type of attire that makes me feel my best,” she remarked. “Being part of the team hasn’t changed my personal style; it’s only enhanced it!”
Toccin x RTR Tweed Minidress
“I have a thing for fashion pieces that stand the test of time,” Swindel noted, singling out this “sophisticated” and “elegant” tweed minidress from Rent the Runway as one of her top picks.
Swindel has also perfected the art of long-lasting, attractive makeup during her time with the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders—a necessity for enduring the long, hot hours of performance under the Texas sun.
“With naturally oily skin and performances lasting several hours, finding the right makeup that can last through game days was a challenge. After three years on the team, I’ve finally perfected a routine that suits my skin perfectly,” she revealed.
Below, Swindel shares her essential makeup products.
