  • Zucchini

    1 kg

  • Cream

    250 g

  • Eggs

    3

  • Butter

    50 g

  • Gruyère cheese

    100 g

  • Grated nutmeg

  • Salt

  • Pepper

Preparation

    Preparing the Zucchini

    Wash the zucchini without peeling. Dry them and cut into 1 cm thick slices or large cubes.

    Cooking the Zucchini

    Cook them for 15 to 18 minutes in 3 liters of boiling salted water. Drain in a colander and press them with a skimmer to extract excess water.

    Preparing the Gratin

    Transfer the zucchini to a buttered gratin dish. Coarsely chop them with a fork.

    In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs into an omelette, add the cream, grated Gruyère cheese, salt, pepper, and sprinkle with grated nutmeg.

    Baking the Gratin

    Pour this mixture over the zucchini, mix well and bake in a preheated oven for 15 minutes at 180°C (356°F).
