Win 2 Tickets to the The British Country Music Festival!
The first ever ‘The British Country Music Festival’ is less than 2 months away now and the excitement levels are building fast! And here at Belles and Gals we’re lucky enough to have a pair of festival tickets to give away!
The festival has a truly incredible line up with the likes of Ward Thomas, Sarah Darling and Catherine McGrath, as well as a selection of many of the biggest and best artists on the UK country music scene.
Produced by urban festival specialists Fit The Bill, in association with The Blackpool Entertainment Company, the event will focus on British Country and Americana artists to promote the wealth of talent in the UK and to celebrate the impact they are making on the international music scene.
The festival will run from 4pm on Friday through to 4pm on Sunday afternoon. At a time when gender diversity is a hot topic in the music industry, this festival is tipping the balance firmly in favour of women, who dominate the line-up on the main stage – an initiative we clearly applaud at Belles and Gals.
Martin Blore, Executive Producer from Fit The Bill said: “This is a very exciting time for British Country and Americana artists. Country music used to be synonymous with Nashville, but this is no longer the case as home-grown talent is now making its mark across the pond and attracting fans from all over the world. The Brits are breaking Nashville and they are also achieving chart success. We felt it was important to create a festival that promotes British Country and Americana artists and what better place for the party than in Blackpool during the illuminations and the World Firework Championships?”
