Ashley Tisdale Rocks ‘High School Musical’ Costumes 20 Years, Two Kids Later!

Ashley Tisdale is still soaring to the top, even after two decades.

On the twentieth anniversary of “High School Musical,” 40-year-old Ashley Tisdale showed that she still embraces her iconic role. She celebrated the milestone by modeling some of her famous Sharpay Evans outfits along the corridor of her storage unit, turning it into an impromptu fashion runway.

Posting a nostalgic video on Instagram, Tisdale wrote, “You can take the girl out of East High…but you can’t take Sharpay out of the girl .” To the tune of “Bop To The Top,” she also noted, “20 years and two babies later I’m still squeezing into these looks.”

For her fashion throwback, Tisdale chose three standout outfits that fans of the Disney Channel movie will remember well.

The first ensemble featured was the turquoise “Bop To The Top” dress complete with a full, ruffled skirt and metallic silver peep-toe heels. Next, she donned a pink tweed skirt suit and satin camisole, channeling a youthful Elle Woods vibe, complete with her vintage Sidekick phone still in tow. Lastly, Tisdale sported the memorable purple satin mini, pink ribbed tank, and a dazzling silver sequin shrug from the number “What I’ve Been Looking For.”

An hour before sharing the video, Tisdale posted a series of throwback photos from the movie series on Instagram, reminiscing, “20 years ago we had no idea what this would turn into.” She added, “I love you, Sharpay. And let me just say… we’re still looking fabulous! “

The actress also included a photo in the slideshow showing her storage rack filled with Sharpay’s costumes and a close-up of her crystal-bedazzled Sidekick.

Amidst her current involvement in a controversy concerning “toxic” mom groups, as discussed in her essay for New York Magazine, Page Six reported that Hollywood studios might be considering turning this drama into a movie. If so, Tisdale might just have the perfect wardrobe ready in her closet for the role.
