Suri Cruise Shows Support for Mom Katie Holmes
Suri Cruise is always there to support her mother, Katie Holmes. The 18-year-old made a special appearance backstage at Holmes’ last show in the Broadway revival of “Our Town.” Dressed warmly in a green puffy jacket, the college freshman, who looks remarkably like her mother, came to cheer her on.

Not new to showing her support, Suri was also present at the show’s opening night in October, which was Holmes’ first Broadway performance.
Star-Studded Cast
The play featured notable actors including Jim Parsons, Richard Thomas, and Zoey Deutch, adding to the high-caliber production.
Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, Suri’s parents, ended their marriage in 2012 after six years. The couple has been co-parenting Suri, who has rarely been seen with her father, Tom Cruise, since a trip to Disney World in 2012. The father and daughter have reportedly been estranged for several years.
Now 46, Holmes has been raising Suri on her own in New York City.
Growing Up Together
In 2019, Holmes, known for her role in “The Dark Knight,” expressed that she and Suri have grown up together. Suri completed her high school education at LaGuardia High School and is currently a freshman at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. Holmes was seen helping her daughter move into her dorm room last fall.
In an interview with Town & Country in August 2024, Holmes expressed how proud she is of her daughter, though she admitted missing being close to her. “I remember being this age, a time of new beginnings,” Holmes reflected. “It’s thrilling to discover who you are, and I cherished that period, so it’s delightful to see her experiencing the same.”
Katie Holmes Celebrates with Gratitude
During her 46th birthday celebration last month, Holmes shared a snapshot of the stunning bouquet of purple roses she received from Suri. “I am so grateful for all of my blessings, especially my daughter,” Holmes captioned the photo on her Instagram Stories.
Additionally, Holmes recently addressed and dismissed a report claiming that Suri had become a millionaire due to a trust fund established by her father, Tom Cruise.
