The former star of “Beverly Hills, 90210” uploaded a picture on her Instagram Story this past Tuesday. The image captured her lying face down, her back and legs exposed but modestly covered by a pink blanket at the bottom.
In the photo, Beau is seen at the end of the bed, happily massaging his mother’s left calf.
The snapshot was accompanied by Dolly Parton’s iconic tune “9 to 5,” while Spelling captioned it, “Beau said he wanted to do chores in exchange for allowance.” She humorously added that it was a “solid plan.”
Beau was born to Spelling and her then-husband Dean McDermott in March 2017. The couple, who separated in 2024, have four other children together: Liam, 17; Stella, 16; Hattie, 13; and Finn, 12.
Personal Revelations on Her Podcast
In a candid April 2024 episode of her “MisSpelling” podcast, Spelling shared some intimate details of her domestic life. She revealed that during her marriage to McDermott, which lasted from 2006 to 2024, she never had a moment alone in the bathroom. She humorously disclosed that Beau now keeps her company, even conversing with her while she uses the restroom. “I think I function better with people,” she admitted, jokingly questioning if this was a sign of codependency.
Spelling also made headlines last year when she confessed to a quirky parenting shortcut on the same podcast. She admitted that she had started dressing Beau in his school clothes the night before to save time in the morning. “It’s so bad. I’ve gotten so lazy,” she said. She convinced Beau it was a “cool” way to prepare, telling him, “Hey, dude. It will save an extra five minutes if we get dressed now and then you can sleep later,” adding a playful “wink wink” to imply the benefit was mutual.

Beyond parenting confessions, Spelling frequently opens up about her romantic escapades on her podcast, which she started in April 2024. In a candid revelation in November 2024, she discussed her first romantic encounter with her ex and “BH90210” co-star, Brian Austin Green.
