This one-of-a-kind roller coaster is part of a famous park, which has recently been voted the best amusement park in the world.
Not all amusement parks focus solely on thrill rides. Indeed, many cater to a family-oriented audience, featuring rides suitable for both children and adults. Additionally, some parks emphasize themed environments or immersive experiences to attract and retain visitors. Those who crave adrenaline-pumping adventures often seek out the most exhilarating parks, and one in Europe stands out as a top destination in this regard.
Located just 2 hours and 37 minutes from Paris, this park was awarded the title of “World’s Best Amusement Park” for the ninth time at the Golden Ticket Awards in the United States last September. This park is none other than Europa-Park in Germany. Deservedly so, as it offers visitors the chance to explore 20 themed areas and enjoy over a hundred attractions. There’s truly something for everyone, from children and families to thrill-seekers.
Among its most popular rides that draw large crowds each year are the Silver Star, the Blue Fire Megacoaster, and the Wodan-Timburcoaster. However, like all amusement parks, Europa-Park constantly strives to innovate. It has done so once again with its latest attraction, which has been making waves just a few months after its debut. Named Voltron Nevera, this ride guarantees an adrenaline-filled experience. This new-generation roller coaster, also known as a stryker coaster, will have participants clinging on for dear life as they experience seven upside-down inversions, four accelerations reaching speeds of up to 100 km/h, including one in reverse, moments of weightlessness, and notably, the steepest propulsion in the world at 105°—a first for a track over one kilometer long!
The latest addition at Europa-Park, Voltron Nevera, was designed using cutting-edge technology and promises an array of unprecedented thrills for each visitor. If you’re tempted to give it a try, you’ll find Voltron Nevera powered by Rimac located between the Poseidon water coaster and Euro-Mir, in the brand new Croatian-themed area, the 17th themed area of the park.
