Last week, Victoria was formally charged with solicitation to commit murder and conspiracy to commit murder. She is accused of devising a plan to have her husband killed during his time on the set of the show, just shy of their three-year anniversary.
Reports suggest that Victoria had been in contact with an inmate in a Florida prison since October 2024, discussing her desire to end her marriage. A police report, accessed by TMZ, includes a message from her stating, “Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce.”
Details of the Alleged Murder Plan
The investigation revealed that Victoria had allegedly shared details about Aaron’s whereabouts and the filming schedule of “Ghost Adventures” in California. This information was intended for a hitman.
Authorities disclosed that Victoria had allocated $11,515 for the hitman, with an initial payment of $2,500. The plot came to light when correctional officers seized the inmate’s phone, finding incriminating messages. One such message to the hitman read, “He’s asleep right now in the hotel room… I need to know what’s going on. Can I get an update. Was it done?”
The specifics of the hitman’s involvement and any disruptions to the plan remain unclear.
Victoria Goodwin’s Response and Arrest
Upon being questioned, Victoria acknowledged her marital issues with Aaron but denied any intent to kill him. She claimed her messages were merely fantasies about being without a husband and that she did not recall sending them. Regarding the money, she believed it was for purchasing cellphones.
Victoria was arrested in Nevada and is currently held at the Clark County jail on a $100,000 bond, with a court appearance scheduled for Tuesday morning.
Aaron Goodwin expressed to TMZ his shock over the allegations, stating he thought their marriage was healthy.
