Garcia posted multiple videos on Instagram showing herself and Knight in the NBICU where their new child was cared for, expressing their happiness and gratitude.
In one of the video captions, Garcia reflected on the unexpected timing of her pregnancy at 40, saying, “Becoming pregnant at 40 was never in my plans, but just like the past few years, nothing has followed my expected path,” adding heartfelt thanks to God and her body for safely carrying and delivering her baby.
The clips show the couple’s immense joy as they bonded with their newborn. Later, they were seen happily taking their baby home from the hospital.
Garcia, who is now 41, simply adorned her video post with stars and hearts.
The pair began their relationship in 2023.
When Garcia first announced her pregnancy on the “Viall Files” podcast in April of the next year, she chose to keep Knight’s identity hidden. During the podcast, she mentioned she was on birth control at the time of conception.
She recounted an unexpected visit to urgent care for what she thought was an unrelated issue, only to be surprised by the doctor’s announcement: “You’re pregnant.”
A Heartbreaking Loss and a New Hope
Sadly, Garcia faced a devastating miscarriage soon after her initial announcement, a moment she described as heartbreaking with her followers, revealing there was “no heartbeat.”
Struggling with her emotions, she shared, “I don’t have many words, and I’m still processing all of this myself. Everything changed as quickly as it happened.”
By March, Garcia was expecting once again.
In a candid interview with People, she discussed the emotional toll of her previous miscarriage and the harsh criticisms she faced online. She described how some accused her of lying about her miscarriage, stating, “The world chose to spit on me and continue to kick me while I was down. I was losing a baby while being shredded apart by some of the most awful comments I’ve ever received.”
After enduring what she called the “lowest point” in her life, Garcia chose to keep her following pregnancy private to “protect [her] peace,” only going public close to her due date in April.
Garcia, who is already a mother to four other children from her former marriage to Mike Fowler, with whom she divorced in 2023, expressed, “I have been so blessed and have kept quiet about all of it.”
Her previous marriage with Fowler saw the births of their daughters Bri, Jaidyn, West, and Kendall.
